Figured i should try helping as well. Look for Creative Commons stuff. There are lots of creative commons licenses that allow free use for commercial and non-commercial work. It's a bit of a struggle to find good shit, but it's out there if you're patient. If you're not patient, well, that's when money comes into play. ;)

I also run a label where a lot of our material is released under a creative commons license. If you took 15 minutes and scoured some of the releases you might find something you dig, in which case, I'm more than willing to work it all out with you. (probably requiring little more than a quick couple of emails as record of your usage and intentions..)
