So... I got out of about around 10:30am this morning... at about 10:40 I got in my truck and rolled out to get a quick coffee.
I wasn't gone 10 minutes... I've got my coffee and my dog riding w/me - heading back to the house.
I turn down my street - there are police cars everywhere, firetrucks and ambulance etc etc... all right near my house - so I'm thinking 'shit - someone in the neighborhood is hurt... maybe a heart attack or something...'
As I get right up to the scene I see cops going in and out of MY FRONT DOOR and my BEDROOM WINDOW... and my heart nearly stops - shock starts to set in that all this commotion is around my house (and I'm scared shitless cuz I have a quad cheap-ass stinky shit sitting right next to my computer (weed))...
... well - they weren't there for my weed thankfully... they were there because a shitty SUV was parked in my bedroom and bathroom.
Not even 10 mins go by from when I left to get coffee - and now there's a fucking truck ventilating the north side of my house...
Anyway... neighbors, cops etc etc are all over the place... wandering around the vehicle - talking about what they saw / heard etc etc while the paramedics are getting the driver (about a 50 year old woman) out of the car and onto the stretcher.
Turns out - there was a passenger in the vehicle... but he BAILED and ran. Later in the day I find out the passenger was HER SON... then.... THEN... :)... about 2+ hours later (after they've pulled the car out of my house)... the last cop on the scene gets a call to shut down and tie of THE ROAD.... ???
'Mr. Ross... this is now a homicide scene...'... ??????
The passenger - HER SON... SHOT HER IN THE HEAD TWICE... and that's why they went through my house... AND SHE'S STILL ALIVE!!!! She was talking and yelling at the paramedics as they were strapping her in the gurney...
Anyway... about 5 hours ago I as allowed to pack up my computers etc (cosmo is taking me in!!! :) :) :) ) then I had to step out of my home and let the homicide detectives in.
