- bungee is for stuffing shit in, traditionally a helmet, not really big enough on this baginkpink
- it's pretty ugly - but it works well as a bag. the bungy can be pretty handy, I've used it for jackets in the summer, newspapers - heard it's also meant for cycle helmets.********

- the reality is that most bag designers themselves dont know what its usage is for..e-pill
- a helmut would never fit in that tiny space.. it is really a eye catcher to the consumer.e-pill

- it will catch your eye when your shopping for a bag.. its a visual gimmick.. nothing more.e-pill

- epill sorry i live in backpack land vancouver bc and i can tell you that all these features serve a purpose in backcountryinkpink
- backpack manufacturers here have been using these same features since the 70'sinkpink
- when a parent is shopping for their kids and see this pack they see that extra carry strap.e-pill
- they then buy it.. they see the front bungee and see their kids using it.. they buy it!!e-pill
- i love it!! parents are stupid!!

- however the larger market for the packs is not backpack country as it is urban setting.e-pill
- the usage of these features will never be used for their intended directions.e-pill
- this is why as a backpack designer myself [last 14 years] i laugh when i see its misuse.e-pill
- also this pack is not designed or intended for the backpack country... its for urban marketse-pill
- this pack has the features similar to those used for hiking, mountain climbing etc..e-pill
- those features are dummied down and re-designed to mimmic the looks...e-pill

- this is one of NorthFace's top selling pack.. and for a reason..e-pill
- its a great bag.. with features that are nopt intended for that reality usage..e-pill
- this doesnt mean you can use it for any usage.. just use it at your own risk..e-pill
- another huge gimmick on this pack is the secondary top front drop pocket.e-pill
- this pocket has water proof zippers, yet the pack itself is not water proof..e-pill
- the usage of that zipper will bring the price of the bag a lot!!e-pill
- you take out that zipper.. make it a regular one.. and the price drops to its cost pricee-pill
- northface uses this gimmick for their urban markets retail marketing. they do it wel!!e-pill

- meeklo i work for small manufactures in the mass market.. i make cheap bags..e-pill
- the style of the brands i work for are have lower price point retails.e-pill
- i am usually given a high priced marked up suped up bpack like this...e-pill
- i have to then cheapen its function but still retain the look..e-pill
- i understand the breakdown of a product and know how to price it out n make it saleablee-pill
- thats what i do.. love me or hate me.. i dont care anymore...e-pill
