Yeah too many reflections, could probably have used environment maps and it would have pretty much looked the same in that case.
Very American TV News graphicsCould have been your lighting settings making it take ages to render, lots of people turn things on like GI thinking its a "make it look great" button when their work would have looked pretty much the same and by finished in a fraction of the time with a basic render.
