    the greatest 4 seconds of my life.. this animation took 16+ hours to render.. yet its only 4 seconds total... i guess its all the reflections..
    the objects including my logo, are all made in adobe illustrator and opened in Modo easy peasy, and then i extruded the edges, applied material colours and adjusted the reflection and transparencies and thats it..

    here it is.. the greatest 4 seconds of your life.. wooohooo

    • thanks.. but im kinda disappointed in the end result. i made a mistake..e-pill
    • the actuall animation i made is 600 frames and it had other things going..e-pill
    • i think its set default is 120 frames.. i just hit ok without realizing what it was..e-pill
    • im just happy that i can open illustrator files on modo no problem.. and that is all illy!!e-pill

    • yeah, 16 hrs is a bit of a wait for some kinda pay off. reflections/refracti... always kill a cpu.M_C_P
    • as for the sucking part: its all part of the learning phase. mine sucked balls too. keep at it.M_C_P

    • update.. its been 20 hours and it just past its half way point of 131 frames..e-pill
    • it is 02/18/10 . ETA to complete render is still 27 hours away.e-pill
    • this better be the best 10 seconds ever!!e-pill
