Interesting. AR has real possibilities used in conjunction with those transparent screens someone posted in another thread. Future implementations in vehicle windshields (updated lists of gas stations, restaurants, connecting highways, traffic info, etc), or even, in the above case, some advanced ski-goggle.
All of this risks being very dangerous to the user, cluttering up their field of vision, when attempted to be used for way-finding on the fly.- video games handle HUD design really wellscarabin
