in the area of design - I would make "design" education relevant to our current and future contexts e.g. the current challenges facing people and business e.g. scarce resources, poverty, poor access to healthcare, pollution, climate change). Designers will be working with social scientists, medical students, geographers, artists, drop outs and freaks.

This would mean that instead of having lots of design schools churning out countless drones to act as "creatives" for the purpose of propping current paradigms, making more shit we don't need and don't want and generally making a small number of people rich at the expense of the many we would have design thinking schools that give people the right skills, mindset and strategic vision to actually do something purposeful and beneficial.

designers should be co-developing new visions for the future, co-creating real solutions, being social entrepreneurs and challenging the "buy more shit or we're fucked" mantra of the the bullshit now.
