This recent thread http://discussions.apple.com/thr… contains lots of theories including claims of a 10.6.2 Finder bug
This http://discussions.apple.com/thr… has a workaround based on ensuring the target has read/write permission and a suggestion (allegedly from apple) to repair permissions on your mac disk then reboot
Caveat, I have not read through both support threads but there is plenty of discussion there.
You say "It'll copy the primary folder", I assume you mean create. Does that folder (on Windows) have read/write permission for all? If not then that may be the problem, in this case adjust the permissions and try again. What is the destination file system, FAT, NTFS, other?
- The permissions on the server are all read write. No password required. Odd.monoboy
