it is true that to switch costs money. but is it worth the cost?
my pc is fast enough for me. it gets me by and has not failed me. i've never had to reinstall my os (XP)...well, except once, but that was cause i was fiddlin around with resedit in places i should not have (fyi- don't try to find away around speeding up the boot process). right now she is flawless and virus free. never had one, never had to worry about one. but its the sophistication that my pc lacks.
its in a little white noisy box. keyboard is so loud and the monitor (while it is a 19" viewsonif pf95) is just too large. sophistication is what i would like now.
but at what cost? the amd box posted is mighty tempting. and at that price, all i would have to do is buy the system and monitors. then install all my apps and os...free of charge. whereas money must be spent...lots of it...just to get my apple up to speed. and forget about gaming on a mac!!
