Are you an experienced player or just starting out?
Either way, it's best just to go to your local guitar store, try out the ones in your price range, and pick which you like best. Brands only really matter when you start getting into the higher price ranges... Taylor, for example, has some of the best sounding acoustic guitars I've ever heard, but the ones that I want are 1,500 - 2,000 and up...
