    i rather disagree zen. that places entirely too much emphasis on the visual aspect of a site and zero on concept or execution (which in my opinion is generally more important anyway).

    in this case you have a site that behaves in rather the same exact manner as another and it's obviously no coincidence. it's not like the endless number of portfolios that use an opensource technology such as lightbox.

    in this case, someone spent a considerable amount of time developing a unique way to interact with a website and that should be respected.

    it's the concept/execution which makes hello monday so unique, not the actual design. when that's infringed upon, i personally think it's fair to say "rip"
