If it's a credit and kudos thing..then unfortunately, as long as there are CD's and Art Directors over and above you, that will happen....it's a pain....and it sucks to see wind-bags stealing credit for others hard work etc...but that's the way it goes..the shitty end of the stick. You can try and be a hardass and say you don't want someone fucking your logo up...but if he's got pull and you don't, he'll replace your ass....first chance he gets...and possibly discredit you in other ways as well.....it ALL depends on how much of an asshole the guy is...if he's an otherwise decent chap thats just trying to justify his paycheck etc, you can probably reason with him....atleast a bit....but if he's a bit of a dick regardless, i'd just suck it up and work to build the best folio you can, and move on when the chance comes....eventually you'll be in a position where it's either impossible for someone to do this to you, or you'll be in a group where it doesn't happen for other reasons (better group dynamics, better hierarchy etc)...at any rate, it's happened to me at a few places, and when it's for legit reasons, it's all cool and the gang..especially when the CD/ArtDirector whatever, can sit down with you and explain why their doing it....but its totally sucks when it's obvious they just want to steal your thunder...
