  My grandfather bought a new pc yesterday and I was recruited to hook it up. First impression: Looks just like Vista.

  The control panel has been more xp'd, so that was a plus. It actually installed his old printer. I got one or two Vista warnings, but it was installing software and not some bullshit.

  I run a pc to play a racing game, but I won't be upgrading for a long time. Hopefully, this will mean more software will be 64 bit though. I switched to Mac a long time ago and won't be looking back. I wish 3ds max was on a mac though, blender just doesn't cut it.

  • What do you mean? I find it's faster than max the more I use it. Lighting is faster too once you figure out how it works.Redmond
