my dad and i are pretty close, and he's been giving me advice on and off for years and years...mostly since i left home at 18 to go to college...
whenever my wife and kids and i head back to the hometown for a visit, he usually trots out a lot of the same advice...but to his credit, he does so with a lot of love and care..
even better though, is that his sense of humour is pretty inline with the 'shitmydadsays' twitter page..so atleast the advice is usually pretty spot on and funny as hell :)
