  You're all getting this wrong. He didn't win because of what he's done. He won because of what he's going to do. You can't deny he's got a ton of potential to do something special. I mean, he's the president, obviously he's going to do something awesome pretty soon.

  The NPP panel just wanted to lock in their pick before the other prize-awarders got wind of his greatness. NPP have claimed Obama as their own. Any other prize commitee is an also-ran at this point.
