It can be harsh here, but its not as harsh as perceptions can sometimes suggest. A lot of the time, people post stuff here that masquerades as a request for constructive criticism, but is secretly hoping for confirmation that they have done awesome work.

When people do that, and are really, erm, 'stoked' by their latest piece of work, and are secretly looking for some back slaps, then they tend to react badly to what amounts to good honest feedback if the feedback they get is not bloated with adoration.

In that situation, people tend to feel picked upon, and assume that people are just sniping because they are jealous. So in that way the genuine constructive feedback gets lumped in with the spattering of genuinely snipey and sarcastic posts, and creates the impression that the overall feedback was bitter and negative.

Its the house style here to pepper posts, comments, feedback with a brusque, sharp tongued bit of slapstick. Its the family style, and you either belong to the family and get it, or you don't, and you get upset.

How many times do you see bunches of males together saying nice positive affirmative encouragements and compliments to each other, like ladies at a flower arranging workshop. Never. The pub? never. The sports field? never. The changing rooms? never. The leatherboys fisting club? never. The MotoX track? never. The shooting range? Never.

So why the fuck would we all cuddle up and act like a well woman clinic here on QBN?

SO GO FUCK YOURSELF SOLDIER. YOUR WORK SUCKS. YOU SUCK. GTFO.

    • Also, lets be honest, having an NTL email address doesn't exactly oooze with kudos.Orbit
