What tank said... Dutch design has always been more prolific and "out in the open" compared to Belgian design (and I'm talking about graphic design). Probably thanks to Dutch collectives like De Stijl and early movements into graphic design have made it a much more publicly engaged craft compared to Belgium where it never had that "chance". Instead Belgium has rather focused (and is known for) its fashion design, furniture design and architecture... (and before everyone starts making a fuss -- i am well aware of the important role Dutch architecture plays - but i'm just trying to illustrate a point here)..
