I agree, the tone, the lighting and direction, the sound effects all look and sound great, except from what I can briefly tell, the two most important ones - his face and voice (perhaps they are going for more of a "realistic burn" - no nose, etc - agree on darkman rip). Hollywood already screwed me on my childhood toys - TransFormers and G.I. Joe... Don't take away my childhood fears. Freddy however, would be great for this generation CGI and dream sequences could be insane... Still want to see. My girlfriend won't even watch the trailer she is so scared of Freddy, sigh.
