Thats spurred me to think about starting to back things up more.
I have a lot of stuff backed up on an external that I take to work with me everyday but should back up all older stuff. Mind you i'd hope that a robber wouldnt be assed to take a massive box full of unlabelled and obvious work cd's (i.e not look like music cd's that they could get £ for).

One of my workmates has a wireless external drive that he keeps in a locked cupboard so that if his house gets burgled it might be safe. You could take it one step further and get an actual safe to keep your wireless HD in?

Sorry to hear about your loss, must be a nightmare!
I reckon that the drives will just be wiped though and sold on.

    • i feel like if something was locked they would want to get in there even more.nicole_marie
