    I would have to agree with mbr. Dual systems are not providing as much power as people think. You should definitely go with P4 but keep also in mind that 3.06Ghz systems showed no increase in speed. Although using HyperThreading, it still seems that we will wait for a long time until it shows ROI.
    So in conclusion I would recommend that you buy even a bit slower CPU like 2.8Ghz since there is a significant difference in price but not in performance. Save that money and buy a 21" display as mbr suggested.
