Not sure about that Sony thing. I know guys using the new HD cams and cutting with FCP.
There are a couple lenses for the Panasonic - wide angle and telephoto adapaters, and fish eye. Nothing with real advanced optics or dof.
I recently bought the Letus 35mm adapter for my DVX-100b, and a 50mm and 30mm lens. Takes practice, but does a real nice job of incorporating SLR lenses for better opticals and depth of field.
To buy it, you'll spend about 2500 for the adapter, support rods, and lenses.
