one part of my brain agrees with the getting paid part. the other says it defies all logic and i should always be worried about getting canned because some numbers guy looks at my profitabilty and might not see any.
my work might generate income, it might not. but certainly a shop doesn't devote 100% of their time working on stuff that they'll give away, which is what it certainly seem like in my case.
i should just suck it up and worry more about the creative and less about the risk management. ignorance is bliss, yeah?
