Don't believe those hype stats. They'll barely scrape over 70mpg in real world use. They measure the absolute best possible range acheivable by placing a stripped out vehicle on a steady rolling road that keeps the car in its optimal sweet spot for economy, usually about 5mph at less than a 1000 revs. Then they give that figure to the marketing people, who drop it into conversations with the press.

Like the Prius, which is less economical than a Jaguar XJ in real life.

    • most economy is derived from the 45-55 mph rangelambsy
    • you are crazy
      ********
    • 55mph is the sweet spot for driving a car, but they are WAY more efficient at only 5mph.Horp
    • well in that case, how about standing still? : )lambsy
