listen... PB is pretty heavy on the bro-hams, and even prompted my friends and I to start a non-profit organization called No Bros (http://www.nobros.org/) which never really got off the ground but that's a different story.
But my point is that it's not all that bad. There are stereotypes for every area in SD (and I've lived in many of them) but where ever you live is ultimately what you make of it. You can avoid the bros in PB if you want, and having the beach and the bay right there is pretty awesome.
That being said, I've come to really like University Heights. The urban places in SD feel almost like a different city than the beach communities.
