this film was taken from his short film. the director is an incredible talent and the idea is an excellent way to tackle apartheid and racial differences as an analogy. this is a country where if rosa parks had done her bus routine, she would have been shot by the driver, a passenger or a cop. a little bit of understanding about south africa's nastier social history wouldn't go astray. granted, all films should tell their own story but no story belongs in a vacuum.
the responses here are the problem we're inundated with such blockbuster shite. the issue is that when a film with a small budget tries to get an idea over the line with market appeal and doesn't have the same level of presentation as a blockbuster people shitcan it. people should really put aside their qualms and get behind this film as an example for small budget and independent film makers.
