I think the over-all issue I see is that there really isnt anything here, aside from something too esoteric to pick up, is that this could be ANY organization combining three autonomous professions. What makes them different? What are common elements about all three? Do all three work in tandem through this company? or are all specialized be designation?
Im jealous of the assignment! it could be a REALLY juicy one! I would just look into the histories of the professions, the companies and the people and start from there. The HUGE sub-title is a pain in the ass... BUT USE IT. there is a lot of MATERIAL to work with there...

Maybe the solution lies in the obvious - a HUGE amount of copy to put on a logo. Think like an architect that has a small plot of land, but a lot of material to work with. Think Structure.
