i've encountered a similar bug before...for me it turned out that the imported jpeg (or png's, or whatever have you) were actually fine...for some reaso, buggy flash was changeing the MC size...they were defaulting to like 60%, and i thought it was a problem with the bitmap...so check your MC dimms out on the _parent timeline...might help????
