i've been thinking about this program a lot lately.

i personally think it's safe to assume that the government has (unofficial, secret) relationships with auto manufacturers. with both this and the recent failing car sales in mind, i wonder if this program is nothing more than a trick to get people who wouldn't normally be purchasing a car, to do so, boosting sales and lining pockets that would otherwise be in jeopardy.

...and all under the guise of "making our roads safer and cleaner"

    • Not sure there will be much pocket lining, as soon as the program goes away so does the jump in sales.DrBombay
    • then say it's for oil people, not auto manufacturers. most of the cars being bought are STILL fueled by petrolscarabin
    • which will establish a huge oil-driven user base, extending oil's reign until they can find a new way to fuck usscarabin
    • Nah I don't think so.DrBombay
