    A creative director doesnt actually have to be a creative person themselves, they might be better with words or spurring on a team to make ideas pop into their head.

    I've worked on a few projects with a guy who was head of the NY office of one of the world's top agencies. He isnt a creative guy at all but he's amazing to talk about projects with, he says things that manage to get into your head and help you come up with creative ideas yourself.
