    with regard to the arrows, there are tons of people who make tons of money shorting stocks, so having them both present is perfectly acceptable.

    as for the tag, present the logo as is, and them show them the version locked-up with the tag. specify that the lock-up version is only to be used on certain materials (usually consumer facing promotional items like ads, flyers, etc). a tag should only be used where space prohibits and in the correct context (ie. not stationery). keep the type clean an simple and removed enough from the logo spatially so as not to crowd.
