Why would indian or asian company won't be able to, and I quote you, "can ever produce to the quality of an american/ canadian one, for an american audience"
The made in america days are way behind, these days pretty much everything is made somewhere else, (grab the closest object you have on your hand and tell me where it's made).
American companies force themselves into other countries, and train these people to speak english with american accent, they feed them american tv channels, and fuel them with starbucks/ mc donalds, in order for this to happen. That's what globalization means, if you don't like this to happen, all you need to do is stop spending money in anything that is made somewhere else, these corporations might be basing most of their actions with greed in mind, but they are also RE-acting to consumer demand.
Yes, we all jump out really high to warn friends about the "blood diamonds" when it comes to engagement rings, but we are all collecting sneakers and upgrading cellphones at an insane speed.
If people supported american made only, in the first place. outsourcing would not be a problem for anyone, so what do you expect? we are all replaceable, we like to think we are, but we are not.
