ah mate, honestly I will reiterate, life is short, and can be dangerous - do not live in fear of bad fortune but know that it doesn't care one bit for your plans, all you really have is today. Today, you are writing in a heartfelt and genuine way about how you love someone who's on the other side of the world, but who could be in the next room, or in your arms.. Tomorrow doesn't exist, don't put your hope in being together there - act now - what is meant to be is what you make happen. What's this nightmare future you envisage where you're both together ? Force the issue or it will force you. Don't be an old man gazing at a photo of the one girl you really loved, all those years ago, but that you let go... Life will do that to you if you give it half a chance, pick up the ball and run like hell with it.
