Ok... Explanations:
It will not be flash. There will be a lot of js and jquery in it.
colours:
-complementary contrast between background and website logo/buttons
-warm/cold contrast between
- blue vs redd-ish [bg - which is a little distracting... maybe fade
the colours a bit]
tried using blue/light green combos looks like vista
- orange vs green [buttons, links etc.]- I think you may have over-thought this.

why not start with a shitload of good work and the website design will follow by oneself.stewart
