Did I ever say I didn't think the dollar could be replaced? I don't think it would be easy, but if there is a worse collapse then yea sure. It's not like America has always been the top economic power, in fact I'm sure it's power will decline in the 21rst century although it's not like China and Russia don't have their own problems.
