you never know. a shake-up certainly wouldn't hurt. the issue i think stands in the way is the balance of global power. the us aren't going to want to hand that over and the main parties voicing this apparently 'shared opinion' are: china, russia and by the sounds of it the catholic church. can you think of any worldwide power that might want to get ahead in the control stakes? at a guess i'd say: china, russia and the catholic church. i'm always dubious of 'truths' handed out by the people that benefit the most from the change.
