the one time i remember not giving a tip was in NYC i had a very effeminate yet racist waiter. he insulted my friend who happened to be black. it was really uncomfortable. it was bizarre too as i expected a homosexual to be more understanding as they also have to deal with bigotry and hate on a daily basis, yet here was this flaming prick, completely stuck up and blatantly intolerant of blacks.
someone had handed me a scientology pamphlet on the street while walking to the restaurant. that was his tip.
