    how about at a bar when the bartender pops a cap off? 1 dollar? I usually do, just because I have friends who do that job and could use it, so I figure most are in the same boat. Don't really feel that a coffee or a beer is worth an extra dollar though.

    I happily tip a buck when the drink requires more effort though.
