    skateboarding isnt about what other people think of it. Granted, there was a time when being a skater felt like being a part of an exclusive club, we wore brands nobody had heard of, we were hated by the mainstream public and that suited us fine..

    but the ethos of skateboarding doesnt lie with that, the ethos is about skating some blocks/ledges/rails with your close friends, scouting possible spots for hours at till 4am, snapping decks and snapping ankles, slamming so hard you feel like puking and getting up to do it all over again.. seriously I had the best time of my life being a skater

    skating is a mainstream commodity these days but that is just money, as long as theres people skating for the right reasons, skateboarding will never die
