    Georgesll - brother, I'm not arguing with you. There is no way the US would initiate combat operations on the ground in Korea. Zero. Not going to happen, for many reasons. It wouldn't be in our interests in any way, shape or form. All I'm saying is IF the NK initiated it, it would be a short, hot, quick mess with the NK's on the losing end of the stick and with lots of damage and casualties on the SK side of the border.

    The main interest for the US is keeping SK and Japan safe from NK aggression and containing any flow of nuclear materials out of NK. Period.
