Last I checked Israel wasn't testing nuclear weapons nor flinging missiles all over the place, nor threatening shipping in it's area.
Look, I am basically an anti-zionist, which is a whole 'nother thread, but there is no way you can compare the geo-political situation between NK and Israel. You might not like Israel, but you can't argue it's a working democracy. NK is a differnet kettle of fish and you muddy the waters by comparing the two...it's sloppy rationalizing frankly. And your argument is strong enough without it.
In self defense it would be like saying, what are my options in taking out the meth addict with the bat that wants my wallet versus how do I deal with my crazy cousin who had too much to drink and is being a belligerent dick. In the former case you would utilize deadly force, in the second, not so much.
