i think express is a good program for somebody who is into videotaping weddings and events, some one who doesnt need to apply much art to his work, just do some titles and import and export dv footage and get paid.
its a good investment for them.but if youre an artist, and you want to experiment a bit, and be a bit unique at least, then you need the pro version, of fcp, and any other program.
get the edu and then upgrade, you will endup doing that anyways, with any version you have.
