Well - fresh news:
1. I have a ...user/desktop/new_fonts folder. That's where I put all the new fonts I get. I can delete any compressed font files. It just doesn't allow me to delete *.ttf files.
2. Just after I posted this thread I remembered I could go into DOS and try to delete the ttf file with a plain command. good idea.
3. From DOS, I managed to delete all ttf files (even logged in as user) in the folder but not those which I had previously installed.
So my guess is, after you've install a font, you can't delete it's copy no matter what folder you're in.
