Georgia's great, but was designed for screen—that's why it looks jacked up on paper.
Chronicle is a good alternative, although it lacks old style text figures (if you care about that sort of thing). Wide range of weights and widths, plus it's available in display, deck and text sizes with four grades for different print conditions.
