    No, you don't submit it. I believe, and I think others will agree, that asking this question is unethical. There's a chance they're asking to decide from your first interview if it's worth bringing you back for a 2nd ('cos you might just be way too expensive), but I don't believe that for a second.

    Unless you've been headhunted and they're asking you to name your price, the salary negotiation starts with the employer, not you.

    Here's an analogy; you're playing a game of poker with someone, and you've been dealt a hand. If the person on the other side of the table asked you what your last 3 hands were, would you tell them? No, you wouldn't, because it would allow them to size you up and fuck you over.
