  Eddie Van Halen's Mouth and Tongue cancer was caused by (as determined by him) the metal pick being in his mouth 12+ hours a day whilst in the recording studio. Apparently it attracted all the electromagnetic energy straight to his mouth. It wasn't caused by smoking!!! haha
