  To me, in reality it doesn't matter, just keep it clean and try not to stand out or be too loud. I disagree 100% with the no jeans no sneakers policy.

  The only thing it really matters if you are interviewing for a design position, is your portfolio.

  Now, if you have doubts about you work and you think you might not have what it takes, go ahead wear a suit and some cologne, who knows? it might help.
