Keep in mind that this is a question about the INTERVIEW. Not how you'd end up dressing everyday.

I think you need to stand out by looking professional.

    • it sets the standard thoughgentleman
    • Most interviewers should know that you may not be dressing like that every day. The interview is more about firstjuhls
    • impressions. Once you get a feel for what everyone else in the company wears, you can start downgrading or upgrading.juhls
    • It would be great if people could just "be themselves", but it's not realistic. Then again, I haven't worked in a design studio.juhls
    • it is about first impressions! in my opinion when people come in it's interesting to see the quality of dress up VS work ratiogentleman
    • weirdly enough its the people that came in dressed casually - the ones with better work (generalisation alert!)gentleman
    • the others are on par with people who buy really expensive portfolios for substandard work.gentleman
    • I prefer the middle ground. If you dress sloppily (with lose clothes), it doesn't leave a good impression.juhls
