I hate to say it, but these do look style over content. I am a student as well, a JR in a BFA program. None of my teachers would've accepted many of these as finished.
What are you trying to say? to communicate? Nothing here would work in the real world, the posters aside. Although they are very aligned with many current yet overdone styles.
I am no expert. I know I have tons to learn as well.
