  I saw my ex twice after she dumped over the phone. We were together for four years. I thought it was a bit bogus for doing that.

  Then she gave me the "we can be friends if you want" cliche and that's when my bullshit radar went off. That was a bit awkward for me and disingenuous at best. We don't talk anymore and I suspected someone else was trying to put their foot in the door.
