    the reason it aint gonna work is that your printer is not setup for that size...therefore the drivers for that printer which inturn dictate the "printable area" in Illustrator won't allow for a 20" printing area.

    so yeah...if you want one continuos print at 20" long it aint gonna happen on your printer...unless there is some 3rd party drivers you can d/l...but i highly doubt it.
